I have been up that path before and saw no signs. The next trip we saw a sign and backed down. I just wanted to warn you that the ranger could care less if the sign is present or not.

I know for a fact that Rangers do hide up there to catch people. I know it is not as fun but stay off of that path please.
This is coming from the Coal Rd. Side? Or the Parkway side?

So are we Looking at Sometime in Sept, @ Big Levels/Bald Mtn, or Flag-Pole?

Shoe Creek is Still Alright, But if we Have a good Amount of People Going Might as well Pick a Bigger Trail.

Weekend Options for Sept:

2nd-4th
9th-11th
16th-18th (I'll be Out of town)
23rd-25th

Also, I have a Virginia Road Atlas and have about 15-20 trails, Fire Roads, and Mountain Roads High Lighted. It's Easily 100+ Miles Worth or Close to it.

IMHO, Big Levels, Flag Pole, or Rocky Run Has the Largest Set of trails. I'm Fine with anything though.
