All guides will be instructed to go to the right of the big rocks in the stream at the bottom of Quarry.

Don't miss out on a great trail ride guys! Sign up and reserve your spot. Once we hit 175, it closes automatically. Check out the past runs on T4Ws and MPJAIs forum for pics and banter about past trail rides.

$120?! Am I the only one who finds that to be just a little bit expensive?

become a va4wd member and its only $80... thats the point. its only $15 to join and the money goes to keeping trails open in Va.

http://www.va4wda.org/images/VA4WDA_...ation_2011.pdf

Oh and lets see the last few raffles i have won, tie downs, jump pack, nascar scanner, oh and a winch.....

umm 47 miles of some of the best trails in Va, the worlds best chili dinner, bonfire (weather pending) usually at least 1 overinflated person running around in a pink small t shirt for donations. apple pie.....

hmmm... anything else i forgot

The WFH event was a charity, and it was for a great cause. As a result that event had great support and received a lot of things pro bono. This event is also for a great cause, but two totally different causes, which is to support the VA4WDA who in turn fights to keep trails open and helps maintain your VA trails.
The event is only $80 for those who are VA4WDA members. If you would like to become a member and get the reduced rate I can provide you with contact information for the president of VA4WDA who will be happy to sign you up for $15.
Our extra meal tickets are only $5, and nothing against the meal provided by WFH, but our meal kicks *** and is cooked by volunteer participants with care, and there will be more than you can eat. Our raffle is also larger. For the record you also receive a goodie bag, a dash plaque, a poker hand, a driver's raffle ticket, and a driver's meal ticket.
Not trying to say one event is better than the other because they aren't...they are just different and the support comes from different places. Hope that helps clarify. Lastly, we haven't raised our registration costs in many, many years, but our expenses have greatly increased. It is important that this trailride is fun and for the participants first and foremost.
The point is I understand budgets are tight, but this truly is a good value and it is more than just a trail ride. It keeps land open, creates vendor support, supports the VA4WDA, and allows this to continue year after year.

To add a little more about VA4WDA...the VA4WDA members don't keep all that money in Virginia. They have sent money to CHAPA (Cape Hatteras Access Preservation Alliance), Save Tellico, and are supporters of United Four Wheel Drive Associations, Blue Ribbon Coalition, Outer Banks Preservation Association, Tread Lightly, and many others. The money goes to worthy causes to help the entire 4x4 community. $120 might seem expensive, but everything costs a lot these days. Have you seen the price of tires lately???

We hope you can join us. If nothing else, find someone who is going, and ride along with them. $5 for an extra meal ticket. That's a cheap weekend!
