Nope, I'm buying one because it's 100 bucks and it's the perfect width for me. I need a narrower one to look good with my fender hackjob imo. It's someone elses homebuilt one, looks real nice. Plus my welding skills are still a little shaky. Failed my first break test on 1/4 with a miller DC and 6010.

Sadly, but happily, I think I'm going to be pretty much done modding this jeep, other than things that I can swap to an LJ easily. (Don't get excited; it will be 5 years.)

You aren't going to put some cheap 4cyl. 4.10 gears or anything in it?

Most junkyard in the area won't have Jeeps...call around to a few of the local places and check first.

I had to call like 6 yards before I found one Jeep.

this has quickly become off topic. At least we got our pics!! Hopefully by next time I'll have my camera working.
While we're on the topic of axles:

For sale on Jeepskool:

4.88 gears ( professionaly installed )
30 Spline ARB locker
30 Spline Alloy Usa Shafts ( timken bearings)

I'll spill the beans and tell you he's asking 1700.

^^but it's a YJ

Daveys seems to usually cost more than I want to spend because people know about him so it seems like he doesn't have too much trouble selling stuff. Nice guy though and I get a lot of smaller parts from him because he's still way cheaper than the stealership.
