Sure. That would be like our own little parade I might have at least two other jeeps with me.

I think it would take about what, 8 hours to the upper penisula of Michigan? It's been a while since I have been there. We would need state park passes in Michigan I think, if we went more than one day.

I just drove from Sault Ste. Marie up there in the U.P. on the 2nd of January to Strongsville, OH. It took me about 8 hours. But I was driving way faster than I would have in my Jeep...

I was cruise control at 78mph

So we would have to plan for closer to 9.

Also what about the Mounds over near Flint, MI

Or better yet...let's get a group together and go down to Wellsville for a weekend.

Quickly before they close it up for good...which is what I hear is happening soon

just saw your thread. I'm from Medina but am in Cbus now. There is absolutely nowhere around Cleveland to wheel, not even quads; atleast that are public and known.

Around christmas break the club I'm in went to wellsville. Supposedly the bad economy did us a favor because the deal is going to take longer, so we might have another year or two of wellsville. That's what the feller at the entrance shack ("sportsmen's club") told us.

Either way, get to wellsville (take someone who's been there before though)

Oh I know this...Jeep Skool, Wellsville and Baumhart are really about it. Then there's the Mounds in MI, Badlands in IN, HillznHollers in KY, and I just heard of Hillsville in PA.

Still haven't heard much about hillsville.

I don't know, I am kinda weary of Wellsville from when my buddies went down there. About 18 guys were down there camping and overnight, one of the retards from another group down there set fire to one of their vehicles! Completely burnt before they could get it put out.

I am glad I wasn't able to go with them at that time now.

Whenever I've gone down, the club I went with secured a large field nearby Wellsville that is owned by a local fire department (Hammondsville, maybe). I'm not sure if they charged us to use the land, but they let us all camp/park/wrench there. We were away from all the yahoo's that were staying at the Wellsville campgrounds. This may be an option if we get enough interest.

Are you going to get a set of bigger tires than those 30's you are running if we go? I am putting my 4.5" coils in over spring break along with my SYE and driveshaft.

haha yes I will...I am getting the 33x10.5s by the end of this month, I can rush that but I also have to put in my newtome 4 banger axles. But that should only take a day. But I don't have a garage to do it in so that is a day that is weather permiting.
