Wellsville Run, 12 September 2009

Some of the guys here went to Wellsville yesterday.

Here are the pictures that I took:

Sign down at the bottom of the road where we enter...

Group down below Sturgis

Walking Sturgis

Mike our trail leader for the day heading up sturgis

Blurry picture but it shows how fast he goes up through here. If you blink you miss the whole thing...:P

Brians turn

Brians rear ARB was giving him fits again so he slid his rear towards the rock ledge behind him everytime he attempted. He ended up with a nice trail dent in his pass. rear corner.

Brian eventually had to winch out to prevent more damage.

This is Matt (Dog) riding in a Willys edition TJ with 37's heading up Sturgis. The biggest of our group for the day.

Same thing was happening to Matt. The rear kept sliding over to the pass. side.

Matt eventually needed to pull a line.

I did not try Sturgis due to my rear axle still being the D35 c-clip. Mike was sure I would break it.

Next we headed up VFW hill:

At the top of VFW heading down another way.

Poser with Brians jeep:

^Mike was able to pull him right out with out any problems. He did have the drain plugs pulled so the water came up through the floor when he entered.

Brian! I can't believe you had to pull line again! Thought all of the locker kinks got ironed out already. You're gonna HAVE to make it in December now when I get back, or else I might have to do it first.

Sorry about that Ethan, didn't realize you were still posting.

Matt with his Willys...

Time to check some clearances everyone.....

Heading back up lower waterfall.

Mike had to switch his line path as he had a little bit of trouble. He even got the tires smoking some at one point.

The others watching Mike.

Time for a little help:

The only damage of the day besides Brians dent:

Yeah Brian was having leaking issues with the locker again.

No big deal Phil.

Well all my pictures are posted up, I will go through and add some descriptions. I left a few out to keep the thread smaller but you can find them on my photobucket account.

Kinda nerve racking the first time you go down some of these hills the first time but makes you feel really good when you conquer them.

Well I am done, I think Brian might have some pictures to post in here.
