Vinton County / Tar Hollow Ohio Trail Run 10/12

So I have had the chance to go on two different trail rides down on the unmaintained (and not well know) Vinton county roads. They are vary comparable to running Southing Offroad Park's upper rim, photo run, and some of the easier parts of backwoods. When run in sequence there is about 5 hours of trails. A group of us from the Columbus and Cleveland, Ohio area are in the planning stages to run them again on October 12th and camp at the Tar Hollow state park on Friday and Saturday night. If you are interested ask here or follow on the facebook page here:

Awesome time! Still cannot believe there are not other fellow southern Ohio WJ's out there that do not want to check out these trails!

This sign was posted in front of a hunting cabin deep back on one of these trails.

I very much want to get to the Tar Hollow area. I rode through that area a couple of weeks ago on my bike and thought "I've got to get over here with the Jeep!" My wife is recovering from surgery right now, but in a couple of weeks I'd be good to go.

Just requested to join in the group. I just hope my jeep can make it there, i've been having oil pressure issues, like losing psi on the high way, but I guess there's only one way to find out. Saturday might work for me depending on the paycheck I get.
