Talking Ohio near Portage Co.

I'm looking for something low key around my area. Anybody know of some simple trails or maybe a nice mud pit?

There is Wellsville. Not really low key, but there aren't too many choices in Ohio compared to other places.
Check out the Wheeling in NE ohio thread. (Link in my signature) We have been down to wellsville and had a awesome time.

I'll bite. There is a SAFE-LEGAL-FUN for FAMILY place to wheel in Portage county. If you do a search for Jeep and School, I'm sure you will find what you are looking for. Good times with great people willing to lend a Jeepers hand.

I would be happy to help you find other LEGAL places to wheel as well. PM me.

Sept 12th, some guys from here and another 4X4 club are heading down to Wellsville. $10 bucks to "get in" and we have a great time. Let me know if you would like more info.

Correct me if I am wrong but isn't the JeepSkool place in southington? Because that is not in Portage County. I have looked at that Jeep Skool thing and I want to do it. I first have a long list of things to get for the jeep. Tow Hooks, Tow Strap, Better offroad tires etc.

Don't worry, you don't need half of that for Jeepskool. They take stock Liberties there.

The property actually covers 2 counties. One being Portage.

You will need recovery points front and rear. A winch and lockers are required for several of the new trails that have opened. The Gauntlet has added 1.25 mile of rock crawl. No one has made it through it w/out a winch.
