Are there some good challenging rock climbs and any good deep mud holes, I need to put my XJ thru its paces soon and tar hollow is alot closer to me than where I would normally go (KY).

There are quite a few deep mudholes, rock hill climbs that easy one trip and a pain the next. there are bypasses to get around most of the mudholes for those that dont like mud.

Im in the White Cherokee in one and then I drove my YJ which just has a BL and 31". So depending on driver skill you can do a lot wit mild mods.

I can only speak of the trails i run in tar hollow but they are perfect for 31-33" tires. Might be heading out on saturday with my local group if anyone is interested.

Hey guys. I am knew here. But anyways we are having a ride January 5th at wellsville Ohio.

Probably the best 4-wheeling in Ohio, without a doubt.

I am from columbus(roughly) There are 4 going already. IF you would like to go post up.

You can check out wellsville on youtube. Its an awesome area.

I just have an xj with 32's. Actually if any of you hit the tar hollow ride a few weeks ago I was there in a black cherokee.

Tar hollow is ok, but you can 2wd most of it.

Anyways post up if your interested. We are not a bunch of hellions but we do love to wheel.

Pictures from last time in wellsville.

you do that in a day trip? Drive out (3 hours) wheel, and drive back? I'd love to go over there but a few things are holding me back.

My jeep is mostly stock with some 33's and a winch. I have wheeled some really rough stuff in the past but not in this jeep. You think it would be alright out there? I am a good/smart driver, been wheeling a long time. I feel like I'd spend a lot of time winching and being a pain in the *** instead of wheeling, since i'm not locked. Maybe i'm better off waiting to go out there until the weather is better, when I wont mind being outside pulling cable so much

Yes and I had a blast. We had a bone stock cherokee on 31's in our group. He went pretty much everywhere. We only had to pull him a few times. But shoot I was the first one of the day to have to get recovered, LOL Stupid on my part. The trail split and I went straight

IF you are smart you can go and be unscathed. The guy in the stock cherokee had the honey badger attitude and his jeep paid the price, LOL.

But seriously ANY rig can be challenged, and any rig is able to wheel there. Stock or not.

IF you are open then I would suggest disconnecting the sway bars. Run lower tire pressure and I will promise you, you will be amazed at where you can go. You really do not need to be locked. Sure its helpful in some cases. But especially here in Ohio its only needed on certain obstacles.

LOL.. That is true. But it probably won't compare to NM wheeling
