Northern Ohio trails?

I live in the Detroit area. we have absolutely no public wheeling in my general area. The closest decent piece of public land is about 2 hours north. Since I live so close to Ohio, I thought I would inquire as to what is available for wheeling.

I am looking for easier trails and two tracks. I will have my wife and kids with me and I will have a bone stock Wrangler, so the Ohio equal to the Rubicon trail would not work for me.

I notice when I go to Cedar Point we pass through some sort of state nature sanctuary or something like that. It looks like a great place. Any wheeling near there?

Thanks in advance for any trail ideas in Northern OH.

Paul

Check out www.northwestohiocrawlers.com and talk to Eric, the club president, for more info. He's a good guy and they are a friendly group to wheel with.

Also, check out www.northeastohio4x4.com as there are always wheeling plans being made at various locations around Ohio. Once summer hits, there will be more out of state stuff planned.
