Badlands this weekend? (July 29th-30th)
Anyone heading out there for this weekend? My dad, brother and I are thinking of going...if we dont go this weekend we will be going next weekend. Just seeing if anyone is headed out.

Did you end up going this weekend? If not.. I will be out there on Saturday with about 25 other jeeps. We have a large group going. After wheeling we are camping out at Summers Campground which is about 5 minutes from the badlands.

I did, there is major construction going on, alot more difficult rock climbs, it was a good weekend, except for a tore both axle tube seals and rear main is now leaking, i found it odd, but it is probably due to mud/sand/water ....ah well upgrade time! take some pics! maye we can get a Jeepforum group trip this fall?

ouch.. sounds like a rough weekend. And totally up for a jeepforum run. I am actually putting together an event at the cliffs insane terrain over labor day weekend. Its basically a jeep/car show and a wheeling trip with give aways. We have about 1000 bucks in gift certificates and prizes to give away. the group going to the badlands is about 50 jeeps right now. going to be pretty ridiculous.

Will do. i am going to be posting a thread about it tomorrow. The cliffs is in central illinois about 3 hours from the badlands. its not quite as big a the badlands.. a lot of mud and tight off camber trails. its worth at least going there once!

yeah.. little bit further away.. but well worth it. Saturday night is a big car show with about 600 cars and 18000 people.. and theres a jeep/4x4 section. Its basically a big meet n greet with give aways.. then the next 2 days we are wheeling.
