Went to big rock in maysville ky yesterday with some atv buddies of mine. It was a 2 hr trip but my jeep made it there and back while wheeling pretty hard. The place was awesome and well maintained. My only gripe was that there was no other jeepers there. Wheeling with atvs was rather un interesting. They were either racing ahead of medown bouncy creek beds (got airborne a couple times keeping up) or watching them get stuck ankle deep puddles. But anyways my point is some of us dayton jeepers should go down there some weekend or maybe haspin.

But it was a fun huge place to wheel.

I was looking for an 8.8 to swap out my Dana 35 and a Cherokee front shaft. Got my lift kit on and getting everything dialed in now. Need a shaft to finish my SYE swap and raise the skid plate back up. Sounds like a pretty good trip, couple hours doesn't seem so bad. I need to get my tires and then I am ready to hit the trails. Anyone going on the covered bridge run in a couple weeks?

I'm in Lima about an hour away from Dayton on 75 if that counts, and I would definatly wanna go to haspin, it's 2.5 hours away from my house.

There is a Covered Bridge Run on June 15th, put on by a local Jeep Club. Its a 100+mile road rally that visits 5 covered bridges in Preble and 2 in Montgomerey and 2 in Butler. If weather has been right, it is my understanding that they can go offroad on 2 or 3 spots. Ends in Enon at the Bikes and Blues festival. Anyway sounded pretty cool, thought about checking it out.
