Does anyone know what the laws are for driving on public roads with my off road lights on I'm a little fuzzy on the detsils

i believe you can get away with 100 watt lights if not checked. and i believe you can not run lights on the hood or roof rack unless offroad. i run my lights on the back roads and i am soon upgrading to ipf high performance 7" 100 watt lights.

Technically, you can't have any more than four lamps (headlights plus two auxiliary) lit at any time on the road. Headlights are supposed to be 24-54 inches from the ground. Fog lamps are supposed to be 12-30 inches from the ground. Nothing is explicitly stated about wattage, but rather the aim of the beam.

Throw out bearing went out on his way to work so were in his unheated garage at 5am changing it lol

They are actually Dodge Nitro rims. I just put the jeep cap in the middle. Here is a picture of a nitro with them, but mine are painted black.

Gotcha. From my phone they look like ford ranger rims lol.

Measure the b.s on them. Mabe its why they dont look like they stick very far out

i can see it alittle bit doesnt look like 4" backspacing thought. what is the backspacing of those rims?

pulled out the engine in my 98 tj to finally move on with rebuild

id post pics but dont know how and there crappy cellphone ones

nice man. to post pictures you have to have a photobucket.com upload the pictures their and then copy and paste the image link.


to the thread i got a hi lift jack from my girl friend for christmas it was a early gift and i got a warn winch cover for my warn winch from my parents. and alot of other stuff that isnt related to the jeep. lol clothes. hope everyone have a good christmas.

i think i am going to start looking for lower adjustable control arms. should i buy new from iro or should i look for used?
