Thats a very realistic mileage. I run about 95 round trip daily with 17.75-18 MPG. Sadly road construction makes a 1 hour 10 minute commute almost 2 hours each way. This ruins any chance of hitting 20 MPG.
How did you get that high of mileage? Auto or stick? Stock or modified?

Ron

I guess I did for a minute. I was frustrated with the fenders. Then we were going to move, and I wasn't going to take it with me. Plus I've been on the road for work every other week since June. So I just left it for a while.

So the house doesn't look like it is going to sell this year. I'm back home for a solid month. I finally got the fenders acceptable (although still not good). So I got the momentum back up again.

This is the first time the black Jeep has slept outside of the garage.

We're going camping this weekend -- Probably headed out to Lake County and stay in one of the state forest campgrounds, most likely Carrieville. I'm going to drag the Jeep up there and hit the ORV trails before the busy Labor day weekend. Anyone that wants to come along for either the camping or trail rides, just let me know. If you haven't been on these trails, they are easy, sandy trails.

Tin Cup, Little Manistee and Lincoln Hills. There are many National Forest roads too that I've not explored.

I spent 1 day up there in june and hope to get there again in the fall. I ran the Tin Cup in my old XJ are the other trail like that? It had rained all night and the trails were it real nice shape a couple hours later. Only problem was the mosquitos almost ate us. You guy are super lucky to have all these great trails.

Yep, they are all about the same. Have to watch out for quads because they don't expect to see full-size vehicles out there. Mosquitoes have been terrible this year.

Trails are pretty good. Not a lot of traffic. You all are missing out!
