yeah a winch is diffently nice to have. i got an awesome deal on that winch because my dad friend bought 2 warn winches one for his wrangler and one for his ford bronco ended up selling his ford bronco and never open it. that was a few years ago then in august i ask him about the winch and he said $400 for the winch never open in box brand new. (he said he would give it for me for free but ended up losing his job because of a disability at ford.) cant go wrong for $400 brand new warn winch.

and for the thread didnt do much filled it up and looked at putting shackles lift for the rear if going up to 4.5" of lift. got to fix my driveshaft with a sye and longer drive shaft before going taller in lift height.

I really dont have any issues with the lack if power. I did have bias ply tsls on if for a while and they made me REALLY apprieciate radials.

Right now i have firestone at's, i love them on the road, hate them off road. So ive been pricing out new 33's. Even off brand mt's are around 160-70 per tire. I can do down to 31's for around 120-30 per tire.

heck yeah man tire price is crazy. i paid for my bfg's 31x10.50 for $700 i like the bfg's for on road and offroad use used it in mud/sand/rocks/snow did awesome. still thinking if i go with 33" tires i am going to get goodyear wrangler dura tracs.

I like the durasmacks but cant see myself running them. I perfer a mild mt over an aggressive at.

Jeep related! Finally finished piecing a lift together for the gf's jeep. It will consist of 3" xj coils for the front and low mileage factory xj coils for the rear. As for shocks a friend of mine has 3" xj shocks that should work.

Im hoping to get a better ride and around 2" of lift. She has pucks but her coils are so sagged it isnt funny.

Picked up the gf's coils today. The red/silver coils are procomp 3" xj coils and the dirrrrty coils are extreamly low milage xj factory coils.

forumrunner_20111208_042916.jpg

My gf has a v8 zj so im hoping at get about 2" of lift. She has 2" pucks in it now but her factory coils are shot so it sits just a hair higher then stock lol. Friday im picking up 3" rc xj shocks and a stock trackbar from a friend.

Hopefully sunday we can put it in. She says she wants to put her own lift in with as little help from me as she can get.

Now if only shed pay for the parts and tools

Maybe the title of this thread should be "Michigan Jeep" rather than xj/mj/tj/zj/wj/wk/lj/jk. Besides, you left out CJ, FSJ, KK, KJ, etc.
