That sucks, what's the plan now? New rims or just replacing the one broken one?

I haven't gone anywhere in 2 weeks so I haven't checked the tires. Looking out my kitchen window, that rear tire looked low. I checked the pressure and it was down to 50. Pumped it back up and made an appointment at Discount. Took it in today expecting a tire to have a nail or something in it. No. I can't be that lucky. Turns out my rim is cracked (!!!!!) and leaking air.
Yikes! Time for some steel rims??

My fancy projector lens' came in today! There was no shortage of packing foam. I also believe these are better built that the OEM ones on my truck now. Also came with matching lower housings.

Okay, they look pretty cool, and no, I didn't hook up the halos. I'll wait until it's dark to check the beam pattern.

Just replace the broken one... I don't see a need to buy all new ones. I like these ones. I ordered new center caps for all the wheels since they look ratty.

Those do look good Curt. I like them. We need to tint your clearance lights next time you're over.

Better pattern? (Mostly, not blinding to oncoming traffic as they were before?)

A LOT better pattern, you can see the outline in the pic above. Much more focused beam. The bulb sits farther back and is recessed in the housing. It isn't blinding at all when you're looking at it from any other angle than head on.

Replaced the PCV valve on the truck....hoping this helps my oil consumption problem. This truck has been thirsty for oil. No leaks anywhere, no smoke out of the exhaust, nothing...just thirsty.

I have vinyl tint that's actually made for lights. It's removable, which is one of the things that turned me on to it. You've probably never noticed it but it is on my marker lights on the XJ, and the headlights of the Stupidru.

Anyone have any extra cinder blocks or something sitting around? Figure it's time to start looking for weight to throw in the back of the truck....
