Nice work. Was it running in that photo? If so, oil pressure

2 wires and a toggle switch. 15 minute job. I did the standard 1 switch bypass. This link ( http://www.wanderingtrail.com/Mods/T...ker_Defeat.htm ) shows you how to do the 1 switch or the 2 switch mod. I am not sure if it's different with the JK.

No, it wasn't running, just had the ignition switch on. However, my oil pressure switch has been on the fritz.

I think I do on my lappy at home. I wanted that as my fb background, but it wouldn't size right for some reason. Working today, I'll try to remember to check later.

Music festival this weekend. This is the 4th time I've been to this one. Lots of people this weekend. Perfect weather.

Which festival was that? Going to faster horses this coming up weekend? Ive got tickets for Saturday, but will probably give/sell them to my bro in law. Just too damn far away with a kid.

I spent this past weekend, sanding, scrubing, brushing, etc...and then taping, taping taping taping, then finally painting. All said, about 10 hours of sanding/taping/painting. All the black metal on the heep is now rust free and flat black again. Im very disappointed in how rusty this jeep got in just 9 months. Im of the opionion a year round jeep in Michigan will be rusty no matter what. Even my wifes JK (08) has some light rust on the frame rails. Its starting to get some bubbling on the door hinges and window hinges as well, but the dealership is taking care of that whenever we drop it off...just damn!

I know ive ranted with Jason and a few others on this forum about how rusty the jeeps get compared to similiar age/mileage vehicles so i wont rant again. Just frustrated! Very frustrated!

festival was blissfest, near harbor springs. Rust is just a fact of life here. You can only delay, but never prevent rust on a vehicle driven here. I'm still going to keep my duramax clean with twice yearly frame undercoating, but other than that i give up.

i also did a little jeep work. Got a new ruffstuff heim joint for my trackbar to resolve a little shimmy at 55. I replaced it but the shimmy remains. Its so slight you might not notice it, but i do. Ball joints, control arms, steering stab, heims, u joints are all new with a few 100 miles or less. I bumped the caster out from 3.8 to 5-ish and it steers better but still a little shimmy. Getting the tires rebalanced right now

lol, all i can think of is how your OCD about steering woes is trying to tune out "a jeep thing".

lol. Yeah. Way ocd about the jeep. Especially steering. I got too much time and money wrapped up in this thing for it to be any less than perfect.
