Went over to Jason's tonight and got some expert welding advice. Thanks again! The bumper WOULD be complete, but JCR's mounts were upside down It looks good anyway. Will button it up next weekend, with some added super heavy duty unibody tie ins.

Yeah, strange, yours had to be fixed too. We looked at all the pictures, and the mounts look right according to their pics, but the bumper doesn't line up with the bodylines and the gap under the tailgate looks huge. I'm thinking we'll do the same operation that we had to do on yours. Hack off the mounts and re-weld.

Jeep seems like it is really on borrowed time now. Got my oil change done last night, knocks like a son of a ***** this morning. Same brand, type, and weight of oil, and same filter. Still builds good pressure, just amplified the used-to-be moderate knock.

Then on the way home from work, trans starts going crazy on the highway. Got home to read P0122, TPS A circuit low input. Already swapped out the TPS (Duralast, on the 3rd one now) and the code doesn't go away. Runs like ****. This is proving hard to diagnose with my meter being at work

And the Subaru is still not operational. :shame:

Wah.

Congrats on the new Jeep! Let us know when you want to take it out for some new scratches .

Got nowhere with the Jeep. The specs I found for the TPS indicates another bad sensor. But it does run slightly better, enough to get to town to carpool to work tomorrow :/. AZ can't get me a new one until mid day tomorrow.

lol i know! But we are no farther from getting it than before, maybe a touch closer now that we dont have a mileage charge looming over us. She was 4K over her miles on that lease already, and its barely been a year.

It took us about 3 months to make the numbers work, but we found a stelearship that would give us what we wanted on the lease payoff and not try to rape us on the vehicle purchase. All said and done, her payment went up $11. Insurance went down $30, and no payment till August.

Plus she has always wanted a jeep, but because her granny lived with us (i had no problem with it, i always had someone to drink a beer with) we needed third row seeting. Well now her granny is living with another family member and she didnt need third row! Time for jeep'n she said.

Thanks! She was actually open to the idea of heading up to Silver Lake, the Blessing, etc...now that we have two jeeps that between them all we could load up us, the baby and some other family members if we wanted.

Apparently my Jeep fixed itself sitting in the parking lot while I was at work for 12 hours.. No more CEL and it runs like it always used to.

I could get used to this. Maybe tomorrow I'll find my 8.8 built and underneath it!

I was looking for front D60s at Wayland lkq. Never looked for rears. Are they all 30 spline?
