Just got back from up north. Camper, no Jeeps. Traffic was bumper to bumper, stop and go from Mt. Pleasant to St. Johns. I think it took 6 hours to get home.

Was 67 and sunny when we left. 49 and rainy here.

Ran out of propane and my spare 20 lb cylinder is defective or something It's full, but wouldn't shoot out any gas.

Caught bluegill and ate them that night. Tasty.

Up north, between Atlanta and Onaway. Camped near the Pigeon River State Forest.

Some fresh caught pan-fare sounds pretty good these days.

Didn't end up getting out to Yankee over the weekend :/. However, I did get into the ol' junkyard for a set of WJ knuckles! Also got the garden fenced in and locked down with Curt's help.

I was about to comment on how the Jeep doesn't seem to be having running temp issues, which of course jinxed me as it started running a little warm on the way in to work..

While I was at Jakes, I realized that my front axle needs some attention...

I think it uses a 1330 at the pumpkin.

Thanks. I'm considering upsizing since I will need a new shaft anyway.

I can get a 1310, 1330, or 1350 yoke for the 8.8. I'm limited as far as the TC end though, as far as I know the NP231 SYEs only come with the 1310 yokes. I have basically settled on the rugged Ridge kit since it's the cheapest, but if anyone knows of others for a reasonable rate I'm all ears.

If I read correctly, the Rubicon has the 1330 at the pumpkin, but only a 1310 at the t-case, but this is only on the front. Obviously the backside of the 241 has the fixed flange.

The only consistent info I could find was on NAXJA, which suggested the 1310 front and a 1330 companion flange in the rear.
I guess what I really need is a sye with the larger yoke. Or just deal with only 1310 joints, which doesn't seem like a huge deal I guess. Mine have a zillion or so miles on them and don't shear in half.
