It's definitely stout! I got all the other pressed together parts apart, but I can't get this cap off the ram. With it locked into the vise and heat applied, I am reefing on it hard enough to lift the weight of the bench, all the **** on top, and several hundred pounds of axle while my lady taps it with a hammer and it still won't even budge.

I have that Suby engine I am thinking of scrapping, maybe adding this would make it worth the trip. Come to think of it I have a few catalytic converters laying around too. Smells like bumper money!

Anyone have tips on how to fix a sticky emergency brake on a f350? It's rear drums. I've tried a hammer

Set the truck on fire, walk away, come back tomorrow and then try the hammer again. Should work

I did some research I think it's because the cables have rusted inside so will probably have to replace them.

Replace them is best, but you might be able to free it up by shooting some oil in there and working them.

You realize LKQ usually does a half off sale for memorial day weekend right...
That's next weekend

Eh, I guess it moves at relatively the same pace all the time LOL :snail:. It just seems more exciting now because now I have all the pieces to build both axles! Realistically I have to do the sye and new x-member before I can get it under there. Which is fine since it will take some time to actually put the stuff in the tubes...

After spending some time with these Ford axles this D30 seems so....inadequate. I'd love to put the Artec truss with Jonny joints on it before it goes in. But they still don't seem to want to give away the stuff I need.

I don't know when holidays are. But that would be a good time to go back for the $160 is axle shafts I stashed!!

Also a good time to peel off some WJ PARTS! Anyone interested?

That would be cool. My "help" last night was a Mexican gent who was practically standing between my legs as I worked under that Exploder.

What are you looking for?
