I'm glad Curt got the Jeep thing figured out. I was irritated by that all afternoon. Buncha crooks I tell ya'.
No work on the Jeep today, however I did sell my hitch receiver I can't use any more (bumper money). Last night I got the D30 AND the 8.8 from my parents garage to my garage and onto my NEW BENCH! And let me tell you, moving a loaded 8.8 from the back of a Jeep at belly level to the top of a work bench by yourself is not for wimps.
Now all I need is some 4.10s for the 8.8, inner axle seals for both, spring perches for the 8.8, to truss the '30, install SYE in the t-case, fabricate a flat belly x-member, and fabricate or buy a new rear driveshaft! Then the axle swap will be complete.
I'll start with the 4.10s. JY party friday if anyone is interested.
