I'm glad Curt got the Jeep thing figured out. I was irritated by that all afternoon. Buncha crooks I tell ya'.

No work on the Jeep today, however I did sell my hitch receiver I can't use any more (bumper money). Last night I got the D30 AND the 8.8 from my parents garage to my garage and onto my NEW BENCH! And let me tell you, moving a loaded 8.8 from the back of a Jeep at belly level to the top of a work bench by yourself is not for wimps.
Now all I need is some 4.10s for the 8.8, inner axle seals for both, spring perches for the 8.8, to truss the '30, install SYE in the t-case, fabricate a flat belly x-member, and fabricate or buy a new rear driveshaft! Then the axle swap will be complete.
I'll start with the 4.10s. JY party friday if anyone is interested.

Not everything is figured out, I should have the money to pay what I owe by Friday, but I might be short on cash to get the Jeep out of the repo place, it goes up $15 everyday it sits there....

Got into GLFWDA (edit: forum only so far). This is not conducive to doing work.

Barring anything unforeseen (and with me, you never know) I should get my camper tonight. Obligatory pics will soon follow.

I will be able to, when I upgrade the hitch. I didn't know how long of an extension I needed, so I didn't order one yet. The guy I bought it from gave me a 24" extension that will work for light trailers (like my boat), but I really want to upgrade the hitch before I haul heavy (like the Jeep).

Alright guys, good news and bad news, I was able to pay what I owe on the Jeep, thank God. However, I'm going to be about $200 short on getting the Jeep out of the repo lot....

Too much for me. I'm sure it's worth it, but I don't know anything about them. Not really in the market for a new TV, but I thought I might be able to help.

Just got back downstate for summer break and have been "de-winterizing" the Jeep.

That UP winter was harsh on him
