Lol....hacked up temporary dune flag mount. Yeah. You'd be surprised at how little there is on an XJ to put a flag into. That what was laying in my buddies garage with about 15 minutes to spare. We didn't even end up going to Silver Lake. Two breakdowns before we made it out of the driveway.
It will work until I get a good bumper on there. I don't like where I had to put those lights either, but by god they're on and working.

Since I hadn't heard from the tire shop, I called. The other guy at the tire shop thought I was supposed to call him, rather than he call me. I'm still unimpressed thus far. I'll reserve total judgement until this ordeal is complete, but it's not looking good.
So the guy said he wouldn't have time to look at it until Tuesday next week. Meantime my Jeep sits undriven with some junk rollers on it. I told him I could just bring the tires down there so he can look at them sooner. He said that would be ideal, so I'll be doing that shortly.
I'm loving the duratracs, but have yet to get them on the trail.
yeah. my friend from work have the duratracs on his xj. the tires did well when we went out wheeling during february. i had the bfg a/t tires and did as well as him. he was at 4" and 31 duratracs and i was at 2" and 31 bfg all terrains tires. i am currently at 4.5" and 31 looking to go up to 33 tires.
