Are there any trails in the Huron-Manistee National Forests

I was going to be going close to the area in a couple weeks with the family and wanted to know if there was any mild trails in the area. And if so, how I would go about finding out details about them. Thanks everyone for your help.

There are plenty of two tracks and fire roads throughout the area.
Pick up one of the red covered atlas' They go county by county and show most of the seasonal and unimproved roads.

Check in at Greatlakes4x4.com, someone may have GPS coordinates.

Check the trails, there is always confusion between "Open unless marked Closed" or "Closed unless marked open"

Trails numbers on a vertical sign mean one thing and a horizontal sign mean the other.

Thanks Paul. I looked at the maps and found them kind of confusing. haha. So I call the forest ranger and they stated that jeeps arent allowed on the trails but they have many roads. I'm not looking for anything to tough, but would be nice for some real scenic drives on some mud. Does this exsist there?

I just got home from running trails up near holten/brunswick area in mantee forest, there are a tone of easy trails up there most of which dont need 4x4 but still fun, drop me a line when your heading up I could show you around it only 45 mins from my house
