Silver Lake

I am looking at planning a little trip with a few of my friends. One has a Geo Tracker and the other has a Polaris Ranger. Anyone have experience there?

Any pointers where to stay?

There are plenty of campgrounds relatively near by, but the State Park campground is usually full. You could try reserving.

Try getting reservations at the State park. Its the best for the money. All will have fun up there. Ive been going for 15+ years. The Polaris will need to be towed in with a tow bar if not street legal. To get a spot in the parking lot on a Holiday weekend will be almost impossible. Towing with a strap on the street will get you a ticket. ORV stickers and Dune flags are available in town.
