Sand Lake rock crawl comp., Sat July 6

Rocksolid Sand Lake rock crawl obstacle course.
This event will be a one day event mixed with the Michigan mud run series.
Fun for small rigs up to big rigs!!!!

The event will be on Saturday the 6th.
Located in Sand Lake Micigan. Just north of Grand Rapids, exit 110 off of US131.

Here are the classes for the RockSolid obstacle course:

35.99 " tire and down
36.00-38.99" tire
39.00" and up tire
Buggy

Helmet and seat belts are required.
They reserve the right to not allow any vehicle to run that looks unsafe.
Classes are subject to change at any time....Depending on the turnout.
The more rigs the more they can separate them.

Last year I took first in the 35" and under class. I did it on 31s with no locker.
I think it was 20$ to enter, and I think I won $80.

Come out and participate, or come out and watch. Guaranteed to be a good time.
Sand Lake will have a carnival going on in town and lots of activity to entertain you.

I'm in Cedar Springs but won't be around that weekend, otherwise sounds like it would be fun!

I think I saw something on this a while ago. Don't they have food and concessions available too? Sounds fun! Assuming I can get the Jeep in order and I don't have to work I'll come!

Do you know how late it typically goes? Even if I do work I could still get up there in the evening.

The carnival and street activities go into the night.

Hmm, that wall doesn't look like it's too much steeper than the one at the mounds. Does anyone know if they compare?

I would love to come represent the vertically challenged 4x4s of MI, but will be fishing at a secluded, remote location that day

Pry close to Same angle, but the sand lake one is taller. The motto is "hard enough for all to struggle, easy enough for all to finish". There's not a rig out there that couldn't drive that course. They have different rules/lines for different classes.
