We were expecting a much larger turn out, but it wasn't too bad tonight. We had 4 Cherokees and 2 Wranglers. I stayed out til around 2300 (had to put the lil one to bed).
There is a swap meet in Fenton tomorrow. I don't know if I'm going to be heading out there, but a couple of the guys said that they would be heading out that way around 0900.
I will try to head out to Woodward tomorrow night if anyone wants to meet up again. Can't guarantee that I will be there, though. I will definitely be out there next Friday night. The only thing I'm going to suggest is a different parking lot/meeting spot.
Maybe move across the street next door to Uncle Ed's in the Duggan's lot. There is a nursery set up at the Shell station and it makes it hard to see any vehicles coming and our Jeeps in the lot.

My Jeep is curently under the knife. As soon as it's done I'll make it out there on a friday. I'm half way through a 3.5" BDS lift install. Going to leave in an hour or so and continue work.

so is there anybody is this group besides myself who has never been wheeling before? hopping to go when ever i can afford new tires.

Don't feel bad. I've only been out twice. I would say run what you have and your jeep will suprise you. Mine did.

that's what i keep being told, i just don't feel comfortable taking bald tires off road when there squeaking and spinning on road.

well, check out gl4x4.com and look in the classifieds. You can find some used tires on there if money is tight. I got 5 cooper 31" stt's for $450 last year.

A CB is on my list. Been checking out truck stops during my many MI to MD trips. Haven't seen anything under $90 yet. One of these days I'll hit up a swap meet or something to see what deals I can find.

34$ cobra cb at walmart plus tax
i ordered the antena Friday I'm planning on mounting it when it comes
also you can pay 20$ and get a antenna holder n a flag it's able to hold both
also I can't get into the bar I'm only 20 until feb.. but I'll still make it out this Friday
as far as I know I'm pushing a few people to go well see if they show
also my jeep has never wheeled just backroad mudd and farm land. I'm down for that soon just gonna be busy next Saturday and maybe up north the following a d a wedding this Saturday
