N 2 Deep - SE Michigan Jeep Club
Just a little introduction about the newest Jeep Club for the Metro Detroit / South East Michigan Jeep Club.
About the Club
N 2 Deep Jeep Club was formed to allow Jeep owners to get together and have fun experiencing Jeep ownership. We have just started this club and are looking for members interested in meeting new Jeepers.
Trail Rides
Being in the great state of Michigan, we have a bunch of ORV parks available to us. We are hoping to get some meets to wheel together in the near future.
Once everything is set, we will try to have wheelin' trips set up monthly at various locations.
Club Meetings
An official club meeting schedule has not yet been set. As of right now, we are just trying to get new members. Every Friday night we try to get together on Woodward Ave.
Once everything is set, we will try to have meetings once a month on a day agreed upon by all.
Who can join?
Anyone with a Jeep vehicle is eligible for membership. No modifications are required for membership. We have members with stock or near stock Jeeps, and a stock Jeep is a very capable vehicle.
What if I've never bee off-road?
No problem. The club has members, all with different levels of experience. Some are just learning the basics of 4-wheeling, while others have been doing it for years.
Are there other activities?
As of right now, no. We hope to get a good group together and we might be able to orchestrate some camping/wheelin' trips, show-n-shines, maybe some parties with barbecues, activities, etc.
What about the rest of my family?
We are a family oriented club. Wives, husbands, kids, and other family members are welcome at all club activities.

alright, i'm thinking it will just be a basic phpbb site for now, and then if we have a big enough user base with donations we could probably license a copy of IPB.

Yeah, I'm not a net guru like some here. I think a basic site to let people know we are out there is groovy. Right now I'm thinking we have four persons really interested. Once we get about ten, then we can start discussing donations etc.

yeah thats what i'm saying, start with a free forum. and then if we have enough people interested we move into something a little nicer to maintain. i'm just trying to find a cheap hosting plan for right now.

Here's my thought
Lets use JeepForum for our forum, we are more likely to get participation if we don't make it another site with another username and password.
Lets setup something like a Wordpress site with an event calendar plugin and have a members gallery(a sure way to encourage member participation, everyone likes sharing pictures).
And for Post on Jeep Forum lets just start each thread with N2D- or something like that.

I would like to know if they can make decals. If they do, ask how much per decal and bulk discounts. Same with shirts.
