Moundsgiving Food Drive

If you are headed to The Mounds on Thanksgiving Day, please help us support the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan by bringing along either a non-perishable food donation or cash. Cash is better, the Food Bank is able to leverage cash donations to purchase more than 10x an equivalent amount of food.

Unfortunately our flyer is 7MB, so can't load it here but it can be viewed at http://www.whatliesbeyond.org/phpBB3...yFlyer2011.pdf

More information at http://whatliesbeyond.org/?p=20

And if you aren't familiar with The Mounds, or Moundsgiving, there is a great article on MLive this morning

I will definitely stop by. We are going to my sister-in-law's for dinner and she lives in Mount Morris.

P.S. I really want to hook up with What lies beyond... I live in Davison

We meet the first Sunday of the month (unless something else gets in the way like holidays, Superbowl, etc) at All Stars sports bar (at the Southmoore Golf Course on Dort) at 6pm, socializing and food starts at 5pm. We will be camped out at the pavilion at the Mounds on Thanksgiving Day, stop in and say Hi!

Only 2 days until the mud starts flying!

And don't forget your cash or non-perishable food donation for the Food Bank of Eastern MI.

Michiganwheelers.com has donated some cool coffee mugs for the event, make a cash donation of $10 or more and we will fill a MI Wheelers coffee mud with goodies for you!

Park opens at 8 but the line to get in will start forming by 6 or 7. If you are bringing a trailer queen get there early or plan to park across the street at the Cummings Center, the two lots at/near the entrance will fill up early.

Stop in at the pavilion in the main parking lot for a cup of coffee and say hi.
