Jeep Camping Trip: Where to go?

The family is going to the UP this fourth of July week and decided we want to head to the UP. The plan is to camp out everynight and wheel by day, relocate everynight or stay another day depending on the trails. I'm looking for some advice on places we should visit, wheel, etc. Nothing too serious. We are bringing two Jeeps tho.

Good luck finding a place to camp last minute this weekend. I made that mistake once.

there's some primitive campsites on 2 heading west, hog island for one and big knob farther west. some seasonal roads in the area and i think there's an ORV park nearby but haven't been to, may wanna check me on that one. but they're about 45 min west of the bridge.
