MI Jeep and 4x4 Meet and Greet and Cruise in Hines Park Saturday July 21 at 2:00

There is a meet up in Hines Park (Metro Detroit area) at 2:00 tomorrow, Saturday 7/21. Bring your Jeep or any 4x4 to the park to show off your ride, hang out, talk, grill food etc. Let's see how many we can get to show up.

Although there won't be any wheeling, Hines Dr. is a nice, scenic drive following a river through Wayne County and perfect for cruising. The plan is to meet up at Levan Knoll which is on Hines Dr. just east of Newburgh Rd.

This is the 2nd meeting and hopefully will continue once a week during the nice weather.

Show off your Jeep! We'll do a cruise through the park from Levan Knoll towards Northville. It's a great scenic drive and the weather is beautiful today.

Someone said they are doing bridge work there. We ended up moving down to Wilcox Lake at Northville Road and Hines Drive. It's only been our 2nd meet and still trying to get the word out.

Yes, the plan is to meet each Saturday at 2:00. Spread the word, it would be great to get a nice turn out and then do a cruise through the park. Saw a nice first gen Bronco and some other nice 4x4s go by.

We had some good food and fun, and the weather was great.

The next Jeep meet up is this Saturday, August 4th, at 2:00 in Hines Park. We will meet at Wilcox Lake on the southeast corner of Hines Dr. and Northville Rd. Bring your Jeep, food and drinks, and come hang out. Tell your other Jeep and 4x4 friends.

Just wondering how these turnouts have been? Anybody willing to give consideration for meet-ups on Sunday?

Sorry, didn't update in awhile. We had a few meet ups until the end of summer, not a huge turnout, but still had some good times. We also did a cider mill run which actually had a better turnout. I would like to start this up again when the weather warms up and hopefully the word will spread and more people will attend. I also post in the Michigan Jeeps group on Facebook. It's easier for me to keep up with things there. https://www.facebook.com/groups/131442833959/

Hi Everyone! I am new to the forum and new to JEEP. Just purchased my first Jeep on Monday. 2013 Four Door Wrangler Rubicon. I'm in the South East Michigan Area and I'm interested in any Meet ups this year. I hope you all will continue to plan some so I can get out and meet some other Jeep owners and learn a thing or two.

Thanks!

Lindy
