I mean most people Aernt going to ruin water but I don't believe there are signs? also Drummond has no speed limit and allows all lights on ( off road) and doesn't enforce seat belts. One might think there's no rules here but we don't need to yell at someone other then just say hey not cool stay on land. That's the thing with the forum people go off on people way to much. ( ie the sexist comments in my build forum)
The problem is more with uninformed people not taking 5 minutes to get informed. The MI ORV regs are available at http://www.offroad-ed.com/mi/handbook
and clearly state what is and is not legal in MI. The Drummond Island Tourism Association and the MI DNR both provide accurate maps of where and how ORV use on Drummond Island is legal - http://www.drummondislandchamber.com...p?page=ATV_ORV
What those knuckleheads did wasn't just wrong, it was illegal. There are also a lot of folks on Drummond Island that do not want 4x4 recreation on the island, and stupid stuff like this jeopordizes a lot of hard work by Great Lakes Four Wheel Drive Association, Drummond Island Off Road Club, The Hummer Club, Jeep Jamboree, the Drummond Island Tourism Association, and countless others that fought to keep 4x4 use legal on the island.
