Bumper Build

We have also been busy on building a Rear Bumper/Tire Carrier. Our original plan was to go with a swing away, but instead we made our first build a stationary.

I'll have to take a totally completed/mounted picture, since it turned out really nice. We had it sprayed with bedliner as well since that's what we've done to almost every thing.

I almost forgot... Now that this beast is running we found a few exhaust leaks. I had to order two manifolds due to them being washed out around the ports. I went online and found them at Rock-Auto shipped to my door with gaskets for $300. The previous owner had a new exhaust put on, but it appear where the pipe meets the collector he used the wrong type of flange so that needed to be addressed too.

I took it over to Bob at Meineke (2139 28TH STREET SW) in Wyoming. Bob is a Jeep guy himself and is very knowledgeable. He did an outstanding job sealing the manifolds and the collectors, as well as re-bending a few of the pipes at the outlet to make them clearance a little nicer. It turned out great and thing just sounds really tough.

Front Bumper

Here is the latest that we've been working on. A new front bumper. My son designed this one. I've got a ton more to post but just haven't found the time. we're trying to meet our deadline to have all of this wrapped up before the blessing.

The Front bumper is back from coating, and is mocked up. We are now just waiting on the new winch to get here. While waiting we blacked out the headlight bezels and tinted the front turn signals and side markers.

Another thing you may notice in the picture is we made mounts and put a Hi Lift Jack on the hood.

Here's a close-up picture of the headlight bezel and blacked-out turn signals.
