Go Topless Day 2013

I know, probably too soon to start talking about May dates yet, but I am a tax guy and need something to look forward to!

The What Lies Beyond Jeep Club of MI will be taking the Go Topless Day picnic on a road trip again this year - the date seems to coincide with our work weekend up in Atlanta to clear the ORV Routes, fix the signs, and get the routes ready for another season. As a result, our Genesee County-based club will be holding our Go Topless Day get together at Clear Lake State Park on Saturday May 18 around dinner time. You do not need to be a member of WLB, GLFWDA or anything else, just come as you are (as long as it is in a Jeep!). We will be hanging out around the camp fire having burgers and dogs, and talking about Jeeps. More details to come as we get closer to spring, but we usually try to grab the handful of camp sites next to the cabin.

And for those of you heading to Mio for the WF run the same weekend, remember that Atlanta is just a few more topless miles up M33.

I'll stop by if we're in the neighborhood that weekend.

Just to clarify, I'm the one topless right? Not the jeep.

Depends on the weather, could be either or both!

Clear Lake State Park - we always set up camp around the lone cabin on the loop on the right side of the campground (the left side is usually closed in May), festivities will start around 5pm or so. Unless you want to come up early and earn your supper, in that case we meet at the Atlanta trail head adjacent to the DNR field office just north of Atlanta at 9am on Saturday.

Gotcha. The wife, kid and I plan to be up for the trail maintenance and whatever else the night brings. Maybe we will camp out as well.
