I am interested in looking into this more for next year. I pulled the DNR map and there are sections listed for high clearance vehicles. What do they mean by high clearance? Currently I have a stock WK Grand Cherokee with 31.5" tires, but am looking into a 2.5" lift for it. Wondering if in stock form I would be able to manage most of the 'normal' trails or not. Also heard it was pretty rocky. I would be going with a couple other guys than have Ram 1500s, but I don't think they are lifted either. They do look like they have about 2" more clearance than I do currently.

I did the Jeep Jamboree in June, it seemed to me that any of the marked trails on the trails maps could be handled by most any 4x4 with stock clearance. There are some rock steps at Marblehead that offer a climb but the steps are right at the end of the trail.

There were some muddy sections of trail where I heard that some of the stcok height Jeeps ended up getting stuck or clogging the radiators and needing to be towed out of the muddy sections.

All of the sections of the trip that required things like high clearance and lockers were inside of the Turtle Ridge Offroad Park.
