Nice job putting it in the title Zakman. Hopefully more will notice now and post. It's always cool to see how many JF members are attending. I will work on getting my family members to post.

Can't wait! We are heading up Tuesday. Driving up the western shoreline. Everyone says it is a great drive.

Yes, sorry for the delay in an offical write-up.

Been busy the past couple of days trying to get my Jeep back on the road.

On my way back, just 24 miles south of the Mac Bridge, my idler pulley seized and decided to snap the bolt at the block. Had to call the wife and father-in-law (happy father's day) to grab the trailer and head up north for a rescue mission. What should have been a 5.5 hour drive home, turned into a 14 hour road trip.

Long story short, great JJUSA. Awesome terrian (rocks, and I mean lots of rocks, an ORV park, water, mud, and tight / twisty trails. Our trail guides were fantastic. 85 Jeeps, and 189 participants.

I was in the Red Group - all stockers. 12 in total including 2 trail guides.
2 KKs - 1 completely stock, the other had a 2" lift.
3 JK 4Dr Rubi's
2 JK 2drs - X and a Sahara
2 TJs
1 LJ on 31s
1 XJ on 33s - Trail guide
1 YJ on 30s - Trail guide

Some pics of the adventures:

On the ferry to Drummond Island

Marblehead Steps - All made it but the stock KK

Lunch at Shale Beach on day #1

This section was over 900 ft long........

We only had 2 Jeeps not able to finish the Jamboree. The White 4dr Rubi (Family was from MO) landed on a rock, thus denting the oil pan. They were able to repair at the local gas station. The gray TJ had water in the trans, ending their day on Saturday. They flushed it and back on the road.

All in all, it was a great time and I am all ready planning on being there next year.

Oh no! Well, misery loves company... I know how you must have felt.

Based on that scenery I may be able to talk my wife into riding along in next year's Jamboree, as long as we make a vacation out of it. I wonder if a Honda Odyssey could flat tow an XJ???

Thanks for sharing the pictures, and I hope you get the Jeep back together soon. More updates for your build thread!
