Well I just got back from the Jamboree today and have all the info, Participants:
$80 per vehicle, 3 day pass, 2 passengers per vehicle, no single day passes for participants.

Spectators:
$18 per adult, $13 per child (ages 3-12)

I wasn't expecting it to be so much for participants, and nowhere on the web sites did I see anything but $18 for adults and $13 for children. So I think trying to get club in at $80 per vehicle isn't doable.

So I guess we have to reconsider our plans:

A) Go as a group as spectators, and park the jeeps in spectator parking together, walk around and hang out as a group, or

B) Turn this into an impromptu wheeling trip to the Badlands.

Option b isn't doable for me, as gas money just isn't there and the Jeep is a little under the weather after last weekend to do it again this weekend too.

So, what is everyone wanting to do?

Bummer... I really spit shined my jeep for this event and gotten other things ready for this . But, That's a lot of bucks to show off our jeeps and spend it on gas going back and forth. I guess we'll just cancel the plans and wait for the 28th and go wheeling.
Sorry for those who planned on meeting our club members at this event. But, hopefully someday we can meet up on some of our trail runs.
Thank you for having interest on seeing us and thank you for understanding our situation.

Michael,
Club President

We'll see everyone on Sunday the 28th

well your wrong about the rich jeep thing...we have some nice rigs for sure but most of us are in it for the trail and not looking cool. Up until a week ago my rig was a 98 that I barely had 4000.00 into. The jamboree was having a show and shine...hence the shining. Still we take care of our rigs and the paint on them so they last and the club maintains a good name for having safe well taken care of rigs.

Our club is open to all kinds of jeeps from stock to built ones. Though, We try to have respect for our jeeps and take pride on how we built it and use it for what it's made for. 90% of us use our jeeps as our daily drivers so, we have to maintain it so, we can use it on the road. We do welcome jeeps that trail their trailer queens but, at this time we don't have many that don't do that in our club. So, we try to becareful on how we use our jeeps on the trails yet, do hard obsticals from time to time. If one has a trailer ...They can drive agressively with their jeeps. Our club is a respectful club and likes to represent it for safety and for familys to enjoy. Many who join are brand new to this hobby and have never been offroading before. We love to focus on new jeepers so, they will enjoy their jeeps and a nice, friendly safe jeep club. We don't mind damages but we also don't want to bash our jeeps just to break it for fun. This hobby is expensive so, we try to enjoy it as safely as we can so, our jeeps can last for many years to come. When we take care of our jeep...our jeeps will be able to run more trail runs thought out the year. If we bash & break our jeeps many of us won't make some of the runs due to the damages and breaks. This is why we respect our jeeps so, we can enjoy it to the fullest. Again, Everyone is welcome to join from stock to built jeeps.
And, We'll be happy if you give us a try. We'll assure you that you will have an awesome time with our club and our members. So, come out and wheel with us and enjoy your jeep.

well i got jumped pretty hard there for not meaning to much behind it. I respect my jeeps more then myself. every time i take it out its in tip top shape. no doubt. i know it inside and out, I build them from the ground up and make all my parts that i can, (rock slider, tube fenders, cages, perches, etc.) I can rebuild a motor in 2 days as long as i have the parts, so having respect for my jeep is my top priority. and I don't go out and try and break my jeeps for fun. I try stuff the pushes my builds to the limit and most of the time beyond. I trailer my jeeps bc the law doesn't like heavily modded jeeps. My last build i had up to 95ish and drives straight as an arrow on the road. not bad for building in 3 weeks, from extending the bare frame to wheeling, but never will any of my jeeps ever be DONE. Im sorry if you took offense to what i stated earlier. i had no intentions to do this. whos all going to the Toys 4 tots at Haspin Acres Novemer 8th?

oh and baths for jeeps are good, honeslty. prevents rust, locked and seized bolts. im sure you all have tried to work on jeeps muddy sucks and then crap is falling in your eyes. i always wash it first thing when i get home, cant weld to mud and dust. the worst thing for causing rust on jeeps are fender flares. but a must for the street.
