New Years Day ride

Last time I was out at interlake, I ran into a guy who we followed for a little bit in a lifted S10 and he had mentioned something about a big new years day trail ride. I'm not sure if that is at the pits outside of Elberfeld or at interlake. Do you guys know of anything going on?
