Pretty cool place if you are into militaria type stuff. Back in the 40's and 50's they used to manufacture ammo there. Alot of the buildings are still up and there is also a pretty sweet dirt bike track out there as well. Lots of old bunkers too, and a pretty nice shooting range. Also during hunting season there are lots of hunting areas there that are free to use as long as you have a liscense and you record what you get.

There's a place similar to this out just south of Galena, IL. I stumbled upon by accident once. Neat to explore.
