"Jeeps Gone Wild" OffRoading Club
www.JeepsGoneWild.org

Our club will be going to the Badlands on both of these days.
Everyone is welcome to join from stock to built jeeps. If your new to offroading and want to see what your jeep can do these are some great times to go. You will meet new jeepers and will enjoy your time.
Our plans will be the same on both dates, meet at the Speedway and at the Badlands. Here is the information:

In the morning a few of us will be meeting in Darien, Illinois at the
Speedway gas station off of Cass Ave and 75th street. We will be making a convoy of jeeps so, we can head to the Badlands safely. If you wish to join us on our convoy please be there at 5:30am to because we plan to leave the parking lot of Speedway by 6:30am. We plan to leave early because Indiana time is 1 hour ahead and the park opens at 9:00am that’s 8:00am Illinois time. This trip will be about 2 hours from Darien. Please be on time if you wish to join us. We will be leaving the parking area as soon as we can & will not wait.

Note: We will be passing 2 tollways so, please have some change ready or you can use your IPass

Here's some directions to the Speedway gas station in Darien:
75th Street and Cass Ave

Coming from I55 East:
I55 head West to Cass Ave North
Cass Ave North: it will be about 2 miles to the Speedway on the Left
Do not pass 75th street

I'll be there with 44's on

Actually, no I won't, not with 44's, anyway. I just discovered that my Aussie lockers won't even be shipped for two more weeks because they're on backorder.

I'll still be there, though

Michael, what is the membership fee?

The membership fee is our club fee to join our club.
This fee is new for 2008 and future years to come.

To become a club member you have to join 2 trail runs or 2 meetings then you are able to join. On the 2nd run I'll hand out a membership package with our club rules, fees, requirements, and agreements.

*For new members it will be $30.00 with 1 free club logo
*For others jeepers that joined in last year from 2007 and later
their fee will be $25.00
*To renew your membership it will be $25.00

If you have any questions feel free to PM or EMail me

Thank You,
Michael

I can't do the 12th....it's my daughters (twins) birthday party. I'm planning on making the 27th. I have my Aussie in the front, and looking forward to trying it out. I just had a buddy but a TJ, so hopefully he'll have it ready for the 27th.

What time do you normally arrive there? That is more the right direction rather than heading north to go south

I wont be able to join in on the 12th (another wedding), but most definitely will be going the 27th, and possibly in a new (to me, 2002) TJ.

Always a bridesmaid, never a bride, huh?

As of now... Here's a head count for the 12th.

Michael-Me & Passangers: Andrew & Brittney
Jason
Ken
Mike-mrfWKJeep
Phil
Brian-Pyrate 7
Carlos
Dryfter
Eli-ghengis86
HoosierJeepster

My daughter Ashley, her boyfriend Zach & Kevin will not be going on this run but, will go on the 27th. Since I will be driving by myself, I want to make sure all will go well because, I have to drive home without them. So, I'll be offroading somewhat careful to make sure there will be no problems for the trip home.

I am not sure who esle is going to make it but, I'll be asking more jeepers to join in. Please ask others to join in so, this will be a slightly bigger group from what we have above. Keep on askin other jeepers on the road about our club and runs. We love to have lots of new members this year.

I'll hopefully be adding more on the list during the week.

See everyone on the 12th.

Thank You,
Michael

You guys are killing me. I tried to talk my girls into having their b-day party at the Badlands, but they didn't bite...lol! You'll have to let us know if the new owners made any changes...good and or bad.
