orange
I'm a big fan of the orange trail, and never had any problems (I'm currently UN-locked and 33's!). It all depends on the driver though. I pick lines around big holes, but more than willing to pull those out who choose to dive in!

Red_Smoke...
We pretty much always run the Orange trail but, It has changed quite a lot. We do it so much...That we want to enjoy the other trails as well. But, I have a feeling we'll run the Orange trail as always. ![]() Also, most of us been running the Orange, Green and others trails 100% stock and not locked. We even crawl rock walls the same way.

Here's my cut and past from another Thread:
Our club is open to all kinds of jeeps from stock to built ones. Though, We try to have respect for our jeeps and take pride on how we built it and use it for what it's made for. 90% of us use our jeeps as our daily drivers so, we have to maintain it so, we can use it on the road. We do welcome jeeps that trail their trailer queens but, at this time we don't have many that don't do that in our club. So, we try to becareful on how we use our jeeps on the trails yet, do hard obsticals from time to time. If one has a trailer ...They can drive agressively with their jeeps. Our club is a respectful club and likes to represent it for safety and for familys to enjoy. Many who join are brand new to this hobby and have never been offroading before. We love to focus on new jeepers so, they will enjoy their jeeps and a nice, friendly safe jeep club. We don't mind damages but we also don't want to bash our jeeps just to break it for fun. This hobby is expensive so, we try to enjoy it as safely as we can so, our jeeps can last for many years to come. When we take care of our jeep...our jeeps will be able to run more trail runs thought out the year. If we bash & break our jeeps many of us won't make some of the runs due to the damages and breaks. This is why we respect our jeeps so, we can enjoy it to the fullest. Again, Everyone is welcome to join from stock to built jeeps. And, We'll be happy if you give us a try. We'll assure you that you will have an awesome time with our club and our members. So, come out and wheel with us and enjoy your jeep.

Sounds great!
I think this place is by far the best in the midwest. Used to drive 6 hours from ohio 3-4 times a year. The close proximity to the Badlands actually cinched my decision to move to Indy last spring! Can't wait to meet some new Jeepers this weekend!

Lost and Not Found

Just a heads up for the beginners or slightly modified jeeps(like mine). I have noticed that on most of the trail I have been on there are "bypasses" around alot of the more difficult obstacles. Mainly the mud holes on the Orange trail. I have done the Green and Orange trails and my CJ isn't highly modified (bypassed some of the really deep holes). I am only running 31" tires. And I am still finding the weak points of my jeep. I will be going with a group of friends also. It looks like 5 or 6 of us will be coming. 1 Orange Scout, 1 Yota, 1 White YJ, and maybe 2 CJs. And a Purple TJ. I think Fred is coming also. I will have a rattle can army green CJ. The 2nd CJ isn't comfirmed. My group will be around and we might tag along for a trail or so but since there are intruders (Scout and Yota
![]() ) I won't say I am coming to join the jeepin group. Although I would like to meet some of you folks. Looking forward to this weekend and seeing your guys rig perform. |
