on level ground it prolly will stay in 4 hi but once you start bouncin round out there dont be surprised if it pops out again. thats exactly what would happen with mine on the street it was fine but as soon as i went down to badlands and bounced it a few times it popped out. if you have the time i'd buy the AA shift bracket that takes the linkage off the body and mounts it to the T/C. i just got mine from quadratec for $37 shipped and it looks to be only a couple of bolts to install.

You didn't happen to take it to the one on Shadland Ave did you? They tried to screw over a friend of mine when she took her car in to have it checked out, tryied to charge her $70 to run a diagnostics on her car. Part of their adds say FREE diagnostics.

Totally agree with Mascun - offroad the body flex might still pop it out. But crap! I bought the skyjacker kit for $66 instead of the AA setup. Guess I paid for the fancy gold/zinc coating

Yes, I am from Illinois, and I am also willing to meet up once we hit 41, but sometimes that is a good 2 hours into our ride.

On another note, I am really trying to convince my buddy to come with his new H3. I tried last time with no luck, so maybe this time he will give in.

I know it would be great to see how one of those things actually does offroad. Everyone that buys them is too afraid to try so we shall see what happens. I will just hassle him for a few days and hope that works.
