Im thinking around 3. Depends when I get up, get the dogs off to boarding etc. Hopefully take off around 11, stop for lunch part way down.

Being our first I want to have plenty of time to find our way around and experience everything.

Hey guys looks like I'm going to have to bail on pizza. My wfie reminded me that Thurs, Oct 6 is our anniversary and I probably should take her someplace special. I tried to explain that hanging out with a bunch of guys talking Jeeps was special but that didn't fly for some reason

My son (TJ99) has a class Friday that he probably can't get out of. If so he will come over Friday night and wheel Saturday.

Still looking forward to seeing everyone at the ranch!

If the weather is super nice I may bring down the MTB and hit the French Lick Resort trails early afternoon. Otherwise I plan to be there around 4 or 5. Coming from Lafayette I usually either go down 231 to 37 (and so on), or 65 to 465 to 37.

That's my daughter's birthday as well. She doesn't expect a nice dinner yet (turns 4).

This trip is a bit focused on her since she and my wife plan to hit the "spa" at the resort hotel, as well as swimming, etc. She wants to ride with me on Saturday but I only signed up Owen this year. Maybe next year.

I'm really going to miss everyone this year, but my old rear springs can't take another beating. Plus, with my new job I'm not eligible for vacation time until November. I'll still be with y'all in spirit. Just remember the bone stock XJ with all the (formerly) straight sheet metal. I'll be back next year if it's the last thing I do.

Looks like I need to get caught up here (being on vacation takes a toll)

We plan on leaving here around 10:30am, as it will be a 7+ hour tow down there. So, we should arrive at the Ranch around 5:30/6pm. Unload the Jeep, got through inspection and trail sign up, etc. Black group for us again (someone needs to be there to pull Hiker through the mud. )

TJ98 - sorry you be there for dinner on Thursday, but, I can understand. We'll see you Friday am!

XJ_Ren - too bad you can't make it. It's always fun to see your XJ take it to the bigger guys in Orange. Maybe we can plan on a Badlands trip early spring again?

If I can find the time, I'll call the pizza place and let them know we're coming there way around 7:15.

Anybody interested in a set of tube steps for a TJ? I've got a set like the ones seen here (http://www.quadratec.com/products/12004_300_07.htm). Let me know and I'll bring them along. Free. I want them out of the garage as I've put on rock sliders now.

FWIW, I just called the pizza place.

They don't take reservations, as it's first come, first served.
So, whoever gets there first, please see what you can do for a table(s) for 15 or so.

It was a great weekend! Good to meet you all. It was an added bonus that Abby won the Hi-Lift jack. Now I get to shop for a mount!
Looking forward to seeing the pics.

I enjoying seeing old friends and making a few new ones. It was also very cool to discover I went to high school with msquaredIN's wife and her brother! In fact, her brother and I were in 7th grade all the way through graduation together. Glad to hear he did well for himself.

As always the Jamboree was a blast. I joked at how I had to "behave myself" given that I was in a new/stock JKU, yet I still ended up caving in the left side of the front bumper (typical), pushed the passenger side step up about an inch on the rear, got a flat, and managed to bang my hard top on a tree. Oh well. I had a great time.

Hope to sort through my pictures and videos this week sometime.
