Interlake/Lynnville April 13/14th

Looks like a couple of us are heading up to Interlake Friday and Saturday, April 13th and 14th. We're going to camp Friday night at Lynnville Park then wheel Saturday.

Couple of questions:

Anybody else going to be up there on the 13th or 14th?

Is Lynnville Park the best/closest place to camp?

Anything else we need to know?

We're somewhat new to wheeling, but this place sounds like a good spot for us at this point - not too extreme.

If your rigs are not street legal, (meaning, insurance, tags, liscense etc) then you have o get a permit.

Thanks for the info! Definitely legal though. Just a lift and larger tires.

Sounds like fun. I'd like to take the my kids camping and wheeling and they enjoy it. So count me in!

Last time I camped at Lynville Park you could bring firewood in but if you didn't burn it all you had to leave it.

Sounds good! Interesting on the wood. Any wood there or should we make sure to bring some?

Where are you coming from? We're in Sellersburg.

Hopefully we'll get lucky and have some of this nice weather we have been having!!! Although a little rain may make it more fun.

They have some you could buy, but I usually bring my own.

I'm only coming from Elberfeld, about 10 or so miles away.

We are supposed to have a club run down there this weekend, but not getting much interest. We have a couple people that want to go Saturday, but it's a 3.5 hour drive for me, so I want to camp & wheel Sunday as well until mid afternoon. Anyone plan on wheeling Sunday?

It may be just me, but might bring the wife & kids as well.

I've decided not to come. Not enough interest from our club & I have a ton of wrenching I should do before I wheel again anyway. Look forward to seeing some pics though!

Maybe we'll see ya next time.

As for me, I'm not sure if I will be able to make it due to my axle side trackbar mount. You can look at my thread in the tj tech section.

I should know by Fri night if my rig can
make it or not.

I am bummed this happened but at least I can fix it right this time.

mracoker - yes, we are camping in tents Friday night at Lynnville Park. Hopefully everything comes together. I have known we were doing this for a few weeks now and still don't have my winch back together. Keeping my fingers crossed that everything goes together right tonight!!! If you make it, I am in a dark green CJ7, my buddy is in a dark green Wrangler.

Danno6102 - Good lunck finishing your wrenching too! Hopefully we'll get some good pics and maybe some video.
