Hey jeeper4life88 I live by the place by the airport. I have been back there many times. My question is it private property or is it trespassing or illegal in anyway? Do you know who owns it or anything , cause me and my buddies were back there a couple days ago and a big verizon work truck got on his pa and pulled right up next to us and got on his intercom and all we heard was "there is 3 truck back here" so we dipped out. Basically is there anyway we can get in trouble, thanks!
As far as I know, its railroad owned property, I know people have been going back there for years. I haven't heard of anyone getting in trouble for going back there, with that said, just be smart about it, I wouldn't hang out in the area's visible from the road.

Yeah and what the worsth that can happen a cop saying you can't come back here and leave?? Yeah we were right along the road when that truck thing pulled up to us. The more I think about it , I think it may have been one of those trucks that can drive on the railroad. Do you know if the railway is even used still?
Just wanted to let you guys know that all that old rail property has been sold. Back in 2005 it was offered to adjoining properties , then auctioned. Lot of cell companies bought the auctions. But you guys are welcome to check out the IJJ, Indy Jeep Junkies.
Just thought iI'd drop by and refresh this thread. I have also been looking for a few good places around the Fort to go wheeling. Besides a couple buddies farms in Huntington county, I really haven't had much luck in this area. I've heard of the area around the airport too, but never actually went to check it out. If anyone could help me out with a road or landmark, I'd appreciate it.
