I normally get to SC a few times a year. I take it you have worked at Holiday World?

I haven't worked there, my wife did while in high school as a life guard. I'm not originally from this area (grew up in Melbourne FL). Go to Holiday World a lot though, was just there today. Nice place and free drinks (I've got three kids so it makes them happy).

Haven't been to Interlake yet but am thinking I might end up there tomorrow. Meeting up with some friends first at an old mine site, but there is talk of heading to Interlake.

I was there on July 9th (HW), had it not been being there with friends, the crowds would have made the day crap. I will be there again on the last day the water park is open to the public (coaster event I am going to). Can't wait for Mammoth next year though, I love Wildebeest, but Mammoth looks even better.

I'm really not sure what I have planned for today or else I'd give you a time and we could meet up. I know I'm hitting some trails (which my buddy is leading me too). If we plan something to Interlake I'll shot you a PM and see if your interested. Never good to be a lone wolf.

Yesterday the crowds were terrible. I have a season pass so we really only go for a few hours when it's like that (just to cool off and let the kids play). The Wildebeast is a very good ride, but I was hoping they would have done something new (unique) next year. Granted, the new one looks good, but the damn line is going to be crazy.

A friend of mine took me a old mine site last weekend near Elberfeld (north of Evansville) and it was a great time. There where long trail that had some great uphill runs and some mud. Can't really give you details on its exact location as I didn't know the area that well but I heard it was the old Squaw Creek Mine site (if that helps).

We headed over to Interlake as well, but it was later in the day so didn't stay too long. Look forward to heading back there before winter. Anyone else have a spot in southern Indiana besides Interlake? And if anyone wants to meet up sometime shoot me a PM.

Cunningham fairy in patoka. I wouldn't go back there though. There mud holes with stolen cars in the bottoms of them. Its the sandbar on the white river.
