Dont forget the weekend of the 18th at the badlands. Truck race, the IFWDA meeting and trail runs, camping, FUN FUN FUN!!!! MANY of the jeep clubs will be having outings there. Come trial with me and my Green Machine!

Don't go wheeling on private property.
Do you have permission to be there? No
Do you want to get a hefty fine? yes
Are you ruining it for everyone else? yes
There are several legal places to go in Indiana and this is the reason they are closing down trails all over the country because people are abusing other peoples land.
Go to the Badlands, Redbird or Haspin.

Actually if it's the place I think it is. I know the owner. We use to play paintball there. If it is, I will call him and see if it's ok.

Holy misinterpretation

I apologize..It was poorly written, and I should have been more specific I guess... "check it out" in my eyes means go see if there is access...if it is near someones house, ask the person if they own the property/if they know who does own it. If I find the person, and they agree to let me on...I dont want to be stuck without someone to help me because as I am new to the area, very few of my friends have a 4x4 capable of pulling me out.

Sure badlands/redbird/haspin are better choices, but not everyone has the time/money/resources to drive 2 hours to wheel. My jeep doesnt have cruise. which makes 2+ hours a commitment. (I don't have an additional big truck and trailer with me either). If I break something, it would be nice for it to be close to home...rather than limping 120+ miles...Also, being new to the area, it might be nice to have a friend who has private land with trails.

Bottom line: I was asking if anyone knew who owned it or if anyone wanted to go with me to ask. Jerry offered up because he might know the guy.

Not the guy I knew. Guy I knew sold his place couple years ago. Now it's gated.
The guy at the place by 465 does not want anyone there. He was very glad we asked him, and seemed to like that we would tell others. He is trying to clear it out.
I have property we may be able to play on. But it's in Seymour, and the other place is in new castle.

Hey man, you don't have to bee so hostile. They probably don't know, and they were going to find out who's land it was. Take it easy. We're all Jeepers here. You can educate people without sounding so mean.

Now with all of what's being said above, thought I'd throw you guys an invite to the Badlands on May 11th. Wrangler forum has a group of about.... 18-20 I believe. If anyone here wants to join, don't hesitate! If anyone joined us last time, use your freeze out pass!

I will be at the 11th. Hulk I think is going on the 18th. I'm not going to have my second jeep or my current one lifted. So, I may need a good escort buddy.
