I'm NW of Indy and often wheel the Badlands in Attica. You'd be welcome to come along anytime.

I would like to tag along one day also.

have not been to the badlands, how much like Redbird is it?

And I'm also from Indy on the west side... anyone over here?

jake_blue 11-16-2012 07:17 AM

I've not been to Redbird but I understand it's a mudder's paradise. Badlands offers something for everyone... sand dunes, rock gardens, a quarry, trails, a creek, you name it.

Warbossjerry 11-19-2012 05:05 AM

look at my videos on youtube, mudding is big at redbird, but i have a stock jeep and found that most of the trails at redbird are great riding. It is also far cheaper than badlands too, $10 a day or you can buy a year pass (retarded cheap!!). If you do go to redbird, my suggestion if you don't like mud is don't go if it rains up to 2 days before. It is a wilderness on a former mine, so the wooded areas hold water. I have seen that most videos focus on trails 27 and 4, these trails are the toughest in the park and are thought to be the toughest in the midwest plus very muddy.

We're on the North East Side, around McCordsville, I have an 06 TJ that I take out often and have some good friends with a 97 tj, a 91 XJ and a 95 Yj that tag along on occasion.

Go muddin next to hamilton town center right off 69.. Ive never been ran off and we've been out there for entire days at a time.. good trails and deep holes and steep hill climbs..

Hey, I'm new to the east side of Indy (and new to having a jeep haha) kinda looking for suggestions on where to wheel and people to go with. Thought this would be a good place to start. Let me know if you guys plan on making any trips!

The time now is 10:09 PM.
