The Cliffs in Marseilles is about all you'll find in Illinois, unless you know someone with land. After that it's off to Indiana.

I won't be out again for many months or I'd invite you out.

I'm out in Johnsburg so not too far. I've been to the cliffs and badlands. I have a buddy who has a Tj on 33s and one with an xj on 31s. I probably will keep mine on the road till spring. Not a big fan of winter wheeling. I usually just mess around at my buddies in spring grove we made some very small not exciting trails but hey it's better than nothing.

I've got a '13 JK on 35s. Been to the Badlands quite a few times. I haven't been to the Cliff's in years. I heard the trails were tore up there. Anyone been there lately?

Damn we are all pretty close to each other. Yeah we were at the cliffs in october. Trails were good. Seems people either love or hate that place, idk. Its just nice that its close and you can just make it a day trip if you want

The last time I was there was October of 12. I was at the badlands over this last summer after the big rain we had and half the trails were impossible to get through unless you had a death wish for your jeep.

I live just north of the state line in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. I'm a member of Down & Dirty Offroad. DDO is a offroading club based out of the Chicago-land area. We just went through a club restructuring and launched a new forum. The membership is made up off all 4WD vehicles and we plan monthly meetings and events. Some of the parks we visit are the Cliffs, Badlands, Silver Lake Dunes, and Redbird to mention just a few. If anyone is interested check us out at http://ddoffroad.com.

I'm very interested is there anything I have to do besides register on that site? I was trying to start a club with a buddy but not enough people around here want to join. I figured it would be best just to join an existing club
