Need help putting spyder gears in on Chicago's north side

This is my thread about my rear Dana 35.

Turns out it's just the spyder gears that broke. I've got replacements. And I just need help putting them in. Anybody close that could give me a hand? This is my only vehicle and it's getting cold! Thanks so much.

Hey SaharryMoe! Thanks for the reply. I'm just a few minutes from you. I'm over in Albany Park, near Lawrence/Western.

Thanks! Sunday would be amazing! I've got your number. I think i just need the 1/4 inch 12 point box wrench. Do you have one?

Yes, I have tools. You just need to have a tube of rtv silicone, a can of brake cleaner, some rags, and the gear oil. Do you have it up on jack stands? If not we will need to do that. Let me know.

I have the jack stands, rags, the smallest tube of the RTV silicone(is that enough?) and the gear oil. Just need the brake cleaner and 1/4in box wrench. It's not up on the stands, as I had to keep moving it for street cleaning, until a few weeks ago. Do you have a jack?

Yes, I do... I will just bring all the tools I need except for the jack stands. You should probably buy a new tube of rtv silicone so that it won't leak later. I'll be free around noon, so lets plan for then. If you have it apart already, clean all of the old gasket material off of the axle and the cover with a die grinder or just fine sandpaper. It will make the install faster. If thats not done I can do it when i get there. Hopefully it will all go smoothly and you'll be back on four wheels!
