Go to wal-mart, to the bicycle department...I got mine for $5. I use a couple of small hose clamps and fasten it to my CB antenna, take it off afterwards.

Wow... Time has flew by...It's 5 more days left til' we go offroading

Just a reminder please have a CB or a 2 way radio with you so we all can contact each other on the expressway and on the trails. We'll be on Chan 12 on both of them.

Make sure you have your IPass out or coins ready for the 2 pay tolls.

Please make sure if someone is under 18 to get them forms signed.
You can get these forms at the Badlands website.

On Sat morning we are all going to leave the Speedway parking lot by 6:15am but, the latest we'll stay is 6:30am so, please be there.

I cannot wait to go and meet all you new jeepers

Thank You,
Michael
Club President

I'll probably have to contact you guys on the radio...I may get there about an hour after you guys do...I just have a sneaky feeling the ole lady will want to pack 2 tons of stuff. Hey, what do you all want to do for lunch/dinner break?? I've cooked out there before, on the trail. Management didn't mind before, but now that there are new people they might. What do you think?

I am not sure how the trail conditions are but,
the weather says it's going to be 45 degrees and partly sunny.
That's not bad though...75 degrees would be nicer

yeah, it's really close....Subway works...hell Jared goes all the time

On another note: I'm gonna have to get my woman's brother to drive his on the trail, since I can;t have any passengers in the back(no roll bar, plus he's only 17 and so is his gf.)

isn't there a "roll bar" above the passengers as well in the WK? for some reason I was thinking there was one above both, basically follow the seat belt mounts back, otherwise are you saying no backseat passengers in grand? not a problem this time, but next? hmmm..

you know, the more I think about this I wonder how this rule actually applies to "full roof" Jeeps? I wonder if it is more applicable to "wranglers" (TJ/etc) that have a open back and the roll bar doesn't technically protect the rear passengers. Does someone that has been to badlands know the "rules" as they apply to grands? Or maybe just give them a call and ask?

Oh your Grad is ok if you have rear passangers. Even if there is no roll bar or cage...Your jeep will be fine driving others inside your jeep. Many drive XJ's WJ's with passangers ...As long as they all have seat belts they will be just fine. No need to worry

guess that will really tell me if I should have bought M/T vs A/T tires , will give those Revo's a work out in the mud..keep the wheel spin up and let the mud fly! Guess I'll bring home a very muddy Jeep for easter!
