Post Extreme Jeep Fest - July 13, 2008 - 9am-3pm

Extreme Jeep Fest is basically one large Jeep get together/meet and greet/show and shine for Jeeps and only Jeeps. All kinds of Jeeps are welcome from stock to weekend warriors, from CJs to JKs to XJs to ZJs to KJs, not only Wranglers, but all Jeep vehicles are welcome.

Extreme Jeep Fest is being held by the Northern Illinois Extreme Jeepers, at the sponsoring Extreme Jeep dealership in McHenry, IL. The dealership is going to be clearing the lot so there will be plenty of room for all participants.

Extreme Jeep Fest will be held Sunday, July 13, 2008 from 9am to 3 pm.

Location:
Extreme Jeep
3017 W. Route 120
McHenry, IL 60050

Awards will be given for Best of Show, Dirtiest Jeep, Most Creative Modification, & Best Non-Lifted Jeep. Jeeps must be registered by noon for award consideration.

There will also be a contest for Fastest Tire Change (on your Jeep).

This event is free to all participants and spectators. All Jeeps are encouraged to register. If you have a pop-up canopy, go ahead and bring it, as shade may be at a premium.

Stay tuned for more details... All new/additional info will be added to this post!

That sounds like fun. I went by that dealership last year on my way to Great America...it had a few Jeeps out front that caught my attention then.

I'll be checking back for your updates.

We are considering both options but have not determined either for sure.

Parts swap wise, we don't know just how many Jeeps and spectators will show up, and while we believe there will be plenty of room, we are still figuring out where everything is going to go, where the registered Jeeps will be parked, etc.. If we can come up with a good idea for a parts swap area or such, we will definately consider it.

We are currently trying to get ahold of some 4x4 vendors, and seeing what they can do for us. We are a little worried that time is a little short notice, so we are unsure of what they will do. I will update this when I find out more.

As a dealer event I would hope you stock up! You should at least have stock in most, if not all, Mopar Jeep stuff for your event.

Granted this may not be a large event, but it would be nice to see up close whats out-there since not many Jeep dealers ever have any stock of OEM accessories.

I wouldn't mind seeing some floor mats/liners, hood covers, window bags, and some After-market stuff - Bumpers/Wenches etc.

I'll be there - I think I got a chance at Dirtiest 2008, 3 week old Jeep.

Good idea, for sure.

Since the event is on a Sunday, the dealership will not be open, however, I will see if the parts manager is willing to keep the parts area open for business that day.

It's really cool, because Extreme has a deal with 4Wheel Drive Hardware (4WD), so they actually do have quite a bit of after market parts in stock.

They've got American Racing rims (nice ones, like the Teflon series, etc), winches (definitely at least one in the parts area), after market Mopar bumpers (those HD ones for the JK)... I'll see what we can do about that.
